EXCHANGES

URRA carries out international exchanges in partnership with other organizations, fostering exchanges between local artists and artists from the countries of the partner organizations. To date, exchanges have been held with Basel, Guatemala City, Kaohsiung, London, Madrid, and Munich.

URRA TIGRE

URRA Tigre was a residency site that operated from March 2016 to December 2021, where URRA developed various residency programs. Located in the Tigre Sur District, it offered living and working space for an average of six art professionals from different parts of Argentina and the world, for periods of one, two, or three months.​

URRA CERRITO was a residency site that operated from August 2022 to December 2024. Located two blocks from the Obelisk, in the center of the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires, it provided living and working space for an average of four professionals per residency. With direct contact to the city, its cultural scene, and surroundings, programs were developed there for artists, curators, and interdisciplinary groups from Argentina and around the world.

OTHER PROGRAMS

The MAYO Residency was the second residency program carried out by URRA. It had four consecutive editions between 2012 and 2015, always held in May and in dialogue with the arteBA fair, which took place in that month.​

ART RESIDENCY IN BUENOS AIRES

The Buenos Aires Art Residency was the first residency program carried out by URRA. It took place between 2010 and 2016, lasting one month each year. It had seven consecutive editions, held in different venues and locations, and provided living and working space for an average of 15 visual artists per edition, one third from Argentina and two thirds from other countries around the world.​
