ART EXCHANGES

URRA carries out international exchanges in partnership with other organizations throughout the world, which favour the crossing of local artists and artists from the country or region of the allied organization.

The residencies that take part in these exchanges provide each participant a platform of production in a new living and working context, in interaction with other professionals from around the world. As a part of these programs, artists participate in public events and activities that include Audiovisual Presentations and Open Studios.

In 2013 we carried out our first international exchange with the organization Atelier Mondial in Basel, Switzerland, that took place until the year 2021, and favor the crossing of Argentine artists and artists based in the area of Basel, Switzerland.

In 2015 we initiated an exchange program with Gasworks in London, United Kingdom, that continues year on year and favor the crossing of Argentine artists and artists based in the United Kingdom.

In the years 2017 and 2018 we also carried out some exchanges with the organizations of Ranchito Matadero in Madrid, Spain, Pier-2 in Kaohsiung, Taiwan, Yaxs in the City of Guatemala, Guatemala and MMCA in Seoul, South Korea.

In 2021 we started a new international program with AIR-M (Artists in Residence  Munich) in Villa Waldberta (Starnberg Lake) Munich, Germany, that continues in the present, for artists based in Buenos Aires (City and Province) and in Munich.
