On Saturday 8 of October, in parallel to arteBA, we open the residency to visit the artists´ studios, to see their projects and to meet the current participants:
Ainelén Bertotti Burket (Rosario), Corin Sworn (Glasgow), Eric Gallardo (Lima), Michael Schmidt (Munich).
Julián Terán (Buenos Aires) and Renata Molinari (Buenos Aires), who recently returned from their exchange residencies in Munich and London, will be also presenting some works.

From 2 to 6 pm at URRA Cerrito.

URRA CERRITO gives name to a new residency site in the City Centre of Buenos Aires.
​
Launched the 27 August 2022, it is a new location on Street Cerrito, two blocks away from the Obelisk, offering new residency programmes and ideal for direct contact with the city and its cultural life and its surroundings.
​

BLEND #2 VARELA VARELITA + Cima, Ojeda Bär, Benavente, Ziccarello and Palmieri

Exhibition project with artists:
Cima, Ojeda Bär, Benavente, Ziccarello y Palmieri at the Cafe Varela Varelita
Blend is an artistic intervention especially thought for the Bar Varela Varelita and its context. It brings together a selection of paintings and photographs of small format, covering almost the whole site.
Blend #2 is a proposal from HIPHiP (URRA) done with the support of Artes Visuales and Patrimonio of the Ministry of Culture from the City of Buenos Aires and the Bar Varela Varelita (street Raúl Scalabrini Ortiz 2102, pff street Paraguay).

WE ARE LAUNCHING THE SECOND EDITION OF THE INTERNATIONAL EXCHANGE BETWEN MUNICH AND BUENOS AIRES:
AIR-M + URRA
We are now accepting applications from artists based in Buenos Aires (City and Province) for a fully funded three-months residency at the Villa Waldberta, Germany, as part of the program AIR-M (ARTIST IN RESIDENCE MUNICH), located near the Starnberg Lake, in the outskirts of Munich, Germany, from 5 July to 28 September 2022. www.air-m.de

This exchange programme proposes an alliance between the Department of Art and Culture of the City of Munich (Kulturreferat der Landeshauptstadt München) and the organization
URRA in Buenos Aires (Fundación VERIA), that will host an artist from Munich in 2022, with the support of supported by Goethe-Institut Buenos Aires, Instituto Cervantes Munich and the Government of the City of Buenos Aires.

Argentine artist Joaquín Aras talks about his recent experience at Gasworks and his Mondo Risa project, and presents the video made during the residency for the first time, together with the Sonia Becce (independent curator) and Sabel Gavaldon (Gasworks curator).

URRA Tigre is temporarily closed due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
Residencies and face-to-face programs will resume when time allows.
